Racing resumed at the Columbus Motor Speedway last night, May 9th. It was Taylor's first time at the Columbus Speedway. There were 17 cars. He started 6th in an 8 lap, 9 car heat, and finished 4th. The feature was 25 laps, Taylor started in the 4th position. He had moved to third , when a caution came out on lap 20. On the re-start, the 1st and 2nd place cars got together on the back-stretch and spun one another out, with Taylor just missing them. Taylor and Kyle Baugh pulled away from the rest of the field and had a serious battle for the lead. Taylor won by about 3 feet at the line. It was a very exciting finish. Taylor will be racing next weekend at Kentucky. A make-up race has been added to the schedule for Sunday May 17th, and possibly Saturday, May 16th at Kentucky Speedway.
